Down Home Carolina Cheese Grits

2/3 gals Water
1 t. Salt
2/3 qts. Grits
1 1/4 lbs grated Cheddar Cheese
2/3 lb. Butter
8 Eggs
2 c. Heavy cream

  • Cook grits in boiling salted water as normal.
  • Remove from heat and stir in butter and cheese. 
  • Mix eggs and heavy cream and add to grits.
  • Pour mixture into hotel pans and bake at 325 degrees for 45 min to an hour

These grits go great with pork cooked with our Butz Rub!
